Since May 1997, when Den Helder Support Service was established, the company is situated at the main dockside of Den Helder, approximately 50 meters away from where the clients can moor their vessels.

Among other clients, we are specialized in serving the seismographic industry. These kind of companies are searching for oil & gas with their high-tech research vessels. We are the agents for the 5 biggest global players in this sector of the Offshore Industry. It contains the bigger vessels, making a port call in Den Helder, with 40 to 50 persons on board. Besides the seismic contractors, we also act as agents for companies like Heerema, Allseas and Seaway Heavy Lifting.
When vessels are making a port call in Den Helder or Ymuiden, we are the contact person, taking care of all kind of things, like loading & offloading shipments, crew changes, repairs, delivery of provisions etc.

Our strong point, is that we use short, direct lines, since a client can call us 24 hrs a day, and will have direct contact straight away.

During the elapsed period, a long row of challenges have strengthened the firm. A second office has been opened since 1998 at Den Helder Airport, where we carry out heliport services, with regards to freight and personnel going out to the platforms and rigs, working on the Dutch Continental Shelf.

We also charter helicopters to carry out crew changes for our clients Offshore. In this case we also take care of transport of ongoing and offgoing personnel from/to Schiphol airport, hotelaccomodation for the crew and visa when needed.

Our main services among others are containing acting as ship’s agency, customs services, freight forwarding and purchasing of all kind materials for our clients, who are mainly working in the Oil & Gas Industry.
